1. Honesty and Integrity

Politicians must keep in their mind that they are the head of a nation.

A good leader needs to be confident. Just think, you are a leader but you are lack confidence, then how you will command your followers.

3. Communication Efficiency

A good commander should be a good communicator. This is a crucial skill one must have to be a good leader. A leader must be able to ask intelligent questions, express ideas, and be clear about what he/she wants.

4. Make Fast Decisions

The ability to make fast, challenging decisions with limited information is essential to becoming an effective chief. Start by determining what you are trying to accomplish when facing a tough decision. Consider the possible effects of your decision and any alternatives available. With conviction, make your final decision, take responsibility for it, and follow it through. Being a resolute and confident decision-maker will enable you to capitalize on possibilities and earn your team's respect.

5. Encourage Others

Great leaders always understand that they must have a sense of ownership over their job for people to give their best, and believe that what they do is meaningful. Share the team with specific goals and deadlines, and then allow them the power and authority to determine how the job is done. Challenge them with high expectations and encourage them to show innovation and be creative.

6. Motivate your Followers

With zeal, excitement, creativity, and encouragement, the best chieftain drives their team forward. To determine their strengths, needs, and priorities, invest time in the individuals you lead. This will help you understand the best way to inspire them, as well as make them feel important. Reinforce constantly how their efforts make a difference and promote the ability to solve problems and challenges to grow their efficiency.

7. Show Empathy to Your Subordinates

For followers, leaders should cultivate empathy. Sadly, most leaders adopt a dictatorial approach and totally lack empathy. Because of this, they struggle to make a stronger bond with their believers. The first step to being a successful leader is to consider your followers' struggles and feel their pain. Even that is not really sufficient you work hard and have the right solution to your issues for your followers.

8. Humility

A good leader is always humble, caring for his or her followers at all times. That is why, instead of concentrating on self-promotion, most great leaders follow to place a lot of attention to solving problems and team strategies.
